Amazon Shopper Panel

Amazon Shopper Panel is an opt-in program where participants share purchase receipts from non-Amazon retailers in exchange for rewards. This in-turn helps enhance the accuracy and relevancy of Amazon's advertising ecosystem by providing insights into user shopping habits outside of Amazon—for advertisers and brands alike

Role

Lead UX Designer

Overview

As a lead designer for this project, along with the UXR, I spearheaded user research, transforming insights into actionable designs from sketches to high-fidelity prototypes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I ensured an intuitive and rewarding user experience. My design approach prioritized not just functionality, but also transparency, ensuring users felt secure and informed about their data privacy at every touchpoint.

Research

When developing the Amazon Shopper Panel App, I delved deep into understanding the unique needs of advertisers, brands, and end-users. This involved collecting insights across these groups during brainstorming sessions, crafting tailored user flows for each segment, and transforming these insights into cohesive wireframes. The aim was always to create a product that resonated with and addressed the nuances of every stakeholder.

Interaction Design & Wireframes:

  • Developed detailed wireframes focusing on core functionalities and interactive elements, serving as the blueprint for subsequent design stages.

  • Emphasized clarity and consistency, ensuring that each interaction was intuitive and aligning with established design principles.
